Add Web images to iPhoto in two clicks

It’s super easy to save images from the Web straight to your iPhoto Library. All it takes is two clicks but please be sure you have the proper copyright permissions before you do. Here’s how.

In the Safari Web browser, simply Control+Click on the image to bring up the contextual menu and select Add Image to iPhoto Library. If you’re using a two-button mouse, all you need to do is right-click on the image to bring up the contextual menu.

When you select an image in this way, take note of the two other handy commands on the contextual menu, labeled Save Image to the Desktop and Use Image as Desktop Picture.
