Disable the Caps Lock key

To disable the Caps Lock key, select Apple Menu → System Preferences and click the Keyboard & Mouse icon. After the preferences appear, select the Keyboard tab and click the Modifier Keys button. A dialog sheet will slide out revealing several pop-up menus. Click the pop-up menu at the top labeled Caps Lock then choose No Action and click OK. You’re all set.
