Print a CD jewel case insert in iTunes

Just because you burn your own CDs from Apple iTunes doesn’t mean you have to settle for a lame or blank CD insert. iTunes makes it easy to print out a nice jewel case cover – so stop hand scribbling and start printing. Here’s how.

Apple iTunes lets you include the original artwork from the album cover of the songs you select. Or if you just want a simple list, you can also print out a song listing or album listing. You can have iTunes print out a list of your entire music collection or just a single playlist, album or whatever random song list you desire.

Let’s assume you want to print a CD jewel case insert for a specific album. Simply select the songs in iTunes and press Command+P or choose File → Print to display the Print dialog window. Then click the radio button to select CD jewel case insert. Next, choose one of the print themes from the Theme popup menu and click the Print button.

Pretty nice CD cover, eh? Now you won’t be ashamed to pull out your own hand-rolled music CDs.
