Set Safari 4 Beta Top Sites as default window, tab and home page

I spoke about Top Sites in the Safari 4 Beta earlier and even explained how to disable this feature. But to discover if I genuinely find Top Sites useful or not, I’m immersing myself by setting Top Sites as the default page when I open a new window or new tab – and as the default browser home page. Here’s how.
To set the default for new windows and tabs – open Safari preferences by starting the Safari browser and pressing (that’s Command and comma). Select the tab and you’ll see two options named and . Set both options to .
To set the Safari default home page to Top Sites, type topsites: in the field. Don’t forget to include the appended colon, as shown.
